Because of that, it is wise to have a bottle of water ready to rehydrate yourself and keep your mouth moist when smoking cannabis. It’s even better to hydrate yourself before you start smoking. 

Since this is your first time, it’s suggested that you start a little bit at first. By doing so, you don’t need to drink a ton of water as a preparation for smoking one spliff.  

  • Choose Your Weed

It’s best to stay grounded and talk with your friends about how you’re feeling after smoking weed for the first time.

  • Prepare For the Comedown

Once the effect of the weed wears off, you may end up feel very sleepy. It’s a good idea to only smoke in the night before going to bed. Prevent experiencing cottonmouth, especially after waking up in the next morning by drinking plenty of water before, during, and after smoking.
